Applicants from Cycle 23 (Collaborative Research Grants) may submit a new proposal for consideration in Cycle 24. However, a proposal submitted for Cycle 23 may not be resubmitted and will not be considered as eligible for Cycle 24. As the Joint Board will not approve more than one grant for the same principal investigator (PI) during two consecutive funding cycles, whether they serve as PI or Co-PI, applicants will be removed from consideration for Cycle 24 if they are selected for funding under Cycle 23.

All proposals must be submitted to the STDF website.

A researcher can submit only one proposal per grant cycle, either for the Collaborative Research Grant (as PI or Co-PI) or for the Junior Scientists Grant (applies to Egyptian Junior Scientist PIs only U.S. hosts may apply for collaborative grants). If a researcher submits more than one proposal, all the proposals in which they are listed as the PI or Co-PI will be deemed ineligible
